Boston 25 Weather is a free weather app developed by Cox Media Group Inc. The app is designed to provide the most accurate local weather forecasts, developed specifically for New England. With certified meteorologists and Chief Meteorologist Kevin Lemanowicz, the app offers a range of features to keep you and your family safe during severe weather.
The app includes a new radar with 250-meter resolution, the highest available. The radar also includes future radar to provide you with a likely path and outlook of storms. The app has added earthquakes and storm tracks as layers in the radar, allowing you to track the location and magnitude of earthquakes, as well as the speed, direction, and type of storms. In addition, the app provides locally developed weather forecasts from the Boston 25 Weather Team, with forecasts crafted by specific team members for each location. Push alerts are also available for free for more than 25 alert types, including blizzard warnings, flash floods, winter storm warnings, and tropical storm alert types. Boston 25 Weather also offers high resolution satellite cloud imagery and the ability to add and save locations, with a fully integrated GPS for current location awareness.
