It is the most accurate local weather app for New England, providing locally developed weather forecasts from the Boston 25 Weather Team. The app includes a new radar with 250-meter resolution, which is the highest available. The radar matches the radar found on other digital platforms and includes future radar, providing you with a likely path and outlook of storms.
In addition, the app has new tracks for earthquakes and storm tracks as layers in the radar, allowing you to track the location and magnitude of earthquakes and for storms, the speed, direction, and type. You can tap the “storm symbols” icon in the radar to see the list. The app provides push alerts for more than 25 alert types, including blizzard warnings, flash floods, winter storm warnings, and tropical storm alert types, which are free.
